What is it?
Arcs can be shaped like a bow, a curve, or an arch. Mathematicians define them as any unbroken part of a circle or other curved line. Others favor the simplified version, a segment of a curve.
Give me an example!
Beautiful rainbows often appear in the sky. They provide an excellent example of an arc.
