Newton- Third Law of Physics

Newton- Third Law of Physics

What is it?

Newton's Third Law is the principle of action and reaction. It states that for every action (or
force) applied in the world, there is also an equal and opposite reaction (opposing force).

Give me an example!

When a cannon is fired, a cannon ball goes flying out of the muzzle toward a target. In this case, that is the action, or result of a force applied in a specific direction. However, at the same time another force called recoil pushes the entire body of the cannon backward in the opposite direction of the shooting. Recoil is the equal and opposite reaction.
